When we discussed the upcoming engagement photography session for Lauren and Jeremiah, they loved the idea of a colorful fall shoot. We threw out ideas for locations and couldn't quite settle on one. Then, a friend of theirs offered for them to use his family farm. He didn't say too much about it but told them he had some apple trees and stuff like that if they were interested. They liked the idea of a farm and so we hiked over to the family farm. Little did we know, the place was a very popular stop. There were animals, corn fields, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, hay rides, a water mill, and a country store! On this perfect fall day, we had free reign to explore the farm and shoot wherever we wanted to go. Since it was pretty busy, we found a beautiful corner of the farm that had no traffic and gave us a lovely backdrop of corn field, apples, and foliage. Lauren and Jeremiah were so easy to work with; willing to sit in trees, climb through corn stalks, and sit in prickly grass. I am so excited to be capturing their wedding day next fall!
